Current Music: All My Loving - The Beatles
Blame it on all the Jane Austen I've been watching, or blame it on something completely different, but lately I've wanted to pack up my things and move to London. Why you ask? Well, for one thing, and most importantly, it will be a change. I've been feeling restless with my current living situation, and I want to move some place new. I've seen many cities in the United States, and I've loved some (Washington D.C.), and I've disliked others (NYC). But, London would be completely different, a new experience, a new country, a new continent. I've never crossed the Atlantic and I think it moving to London would be exciting.

(Buckingham Palace)
(London Eye)
Another reason I've been thinking London, is the language. Call me lazy, but I like the fact they speak English. It would be an easier transition for me. I wouldn't have to learn a new language, just some new words that are used there and not here. Such as, lift instead of elevator, knickers for underwear, and trainers for sneakers. It would be different, but I think I can manage.

(Westminster Abbey)
(Tower of London)
My final reason for wanting to move to London is, of course, the guys! Who doesn't love a man with a British accent? Maybe I can find my own Mr. Darcy?
(Colin Firth, the original Mr. Darcy)
(Clive Owen)
(Ben Barnes)
(Daniel Craig)
(Hugh Dancy)
(Henry Cavill)
So, these are just 3 reason why I would want to move to London. I would want to visit first, to see if it really is the place for me. I was thinking in the spring for spring break, or sometime around then. Do you think it's a good idea? Do you think I would be successful there? Would you do it?
Well I'd definitely give Londo a visit before moving there! Visit first then you can see if you'd like to live there .... come to think of it... i'd love to go to london too! find my own orlo...*sigh*
ReplyDeleteYou could be successful anywhere! Definitely visit first if the money fairy gives me a few extra grand in my bank account I'll come along with you.
